Sherrie worked on a special project which involved assisting the Justices at the Court of Queen's Bench and self-represented litigants navigate their way throug1h the family law court docket process at the courthouse. After realizing the benefits of mediation, Sherrie trained to become a family law mediator in 2011 and offered clients mediation as an alternative to court-based litigation.
In 2013 Sherrie moved to Saskatoon after being offered an opportunity to work as in-house counsel for a bank and trust company. She provided legal advice to the company on employment and benefit law matters, litigation, commercial and residential real estate, and various legal issues concerning financial products. Sherrie sat on the Canadian Credit Union legal Counsel committee and was appointed interim manager of the legal department.

When not working, Sherrie can be found exploring the cycle paths and local parks with her spouse, children, and grandchildren, volunteering at Calgary Legal Guidance, running a local book club and wine tasting.
Sherrie has a keen sense of humour and looks to practice kindness and authenticity with everyone whenever possible.
